Jessica Ann Simpson Johnson was born on July 10, 1980. 1 She is an American actor, singer and charitable philanthropist. Simpson, who was 17 years old, began her career in the choirs of churches. The singer was signed to Columbia Records in 1997. Her debut studio album, Sweet Kisses (1999) was a huge success, selling two million copies in the United States and saw the commercial popularity of the single "I I Want To Love You Forever". Simpson took on a more mature image for her second album, Irresistible (2001), and its title track became her second top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This Skin (2003) was her third studio album, was sold to three million copies across the United States.
