Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was 14 years old. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, BJJ, and other sports before making her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She dominated all her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and prevailed over her with a unanimous decision to put the blemish on Aspen's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round with a TKO. She won her next fight at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen dominated McGill in her wrestling, to finish her off with the third round by TKO. Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She took on Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd didn't make an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she finished her with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She came back to her winning ways and picked up a more impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round as well as a win of the night's bonus. The first big fight she fought in was when she fought her second opponent at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her record of wins. Following a brief break before returning to take on Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
